Set-Asides Search Tool
Find set-aside programs, read their eligibility rules and key statistics, and see recent contracts for each program.
The free CLEATUS Set-Asides Search Tool explains the federal set-aside programs. Use it to learn which programs fit your business. Each program page also shows recent contracts for that program. You do not need an account.
What the tool covers
The tool covers 15 set-aside and sole-source programs. Examples are the Total Small Business Set-Aside, 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Each program has its own page with these sections:
- At a glance: key statistics about the program.
- Eligibility: the requirements that a business must meet to qualify.
- Latest contracts: the 10 most recent contract opportunities for the program.
- Benefits and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Find a program
- Open the Set-Asides Search Tool.
- In Search Government Set-Aside Programs, type a program name or code, for example "HUBZone" or "8A".
- Select a program to open its page.
- Read the eligibility section to confirm that your business qualifies.
- Review the latest contracts to see the work that agencies set aside for the program.
Size is decided per NAICS code:
Most set-asides also require that your business is small under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of the contract. Each code has its own size standard. Use the NAICS Code Lookup Tool to check it.
Use set-asides in CLEATUS
- In your Capture Profile, open Company Details and select your programs under Set-Aside Programs. CLEATUS then recommends only contracts that are open to the programs you select.
- In contract search, add the Set Aside Programs filter to find open opportunities for your programs.
